The first steps taken by Riunite Lambrusco to conquer the international market were made in Germany in the late 1960s, with our participation at some important fairs, such as that in Frankfurt, and the drawing up of some export contracts for about a thousand hectoliters of wine from Reggio Emilia.

It was actually in Germany, in 1969, where – almost by accident – the partnership between Villa Banfi and Riunite Lambrusco started, which shortly thereafter would enjoy such success in the United States.
This market’s favorite product was (and is) our Lambrusco Amabile, which satisfies perfectly the taste and needs of US consumers.
