Winemaker’s Note

Lambrusco Reggiano is obtained from two of the most common varieties in Reggio Emilia.
We are talking about Lambrusco Marani and Lambrusco Salamino, which are vinified with short cold maceration and subsequent secondary fermentation, using the sweet filtered partially-fermented must from the two varieties.
The result is a wine that benefits from the intense ruby red color with purple hints of Salamino and the freshness of Marani, with its characteristic floral notes of roses and fruity ones of raspberry, blackberry and blueberry.
The residual sugar makes this wine fuller and more attractive, accentuating its fruity characteristics.
